Notary services

Notarisation of signatures, declarations and copies, with an interpreter for foreigners and documents ready for use abroad.

Many documents intended for use abroad must first be notarised: declarations, consents, powers of attorney, copies of diplomas and passports. We draft the text — bilingually where useful — book the notary appointment and provide an interpreter when the signatory does not speak Macedonian.

After notarisation, the document can receive an apostille or be legalised and translated — we link all of it into one order, so you never have to go from one office to the next.

Frequently asked questions

Can a foreigner sign a document at a notary in North Macedonia?

Yes, with a valid passport and an authorised interpreter who translates the text before signing. We provide the interpreter.

Is a notarised document valid abroad?

Usually it needs an apostille or legalisation, and sometimes a translation. We will tell you exactly what the destination country requires.

Can you prepare a bilingual document?

Yes. Bilingual declarations and powers of attorney often speed things up because no separate translation is needed.
