Certified translation

Translations by court-authorised (sworn) translators, stamped and signed, accepted by courts, ministries, universities and embassies.

A certified (sworn) translation is one that a court-authorised translator confirms with their official stamp and signature. It is the only kind of translation accepted by courts, administrative bodies, universities, employers and diplomatic missions, both here and abroad.

We work with a network of authorised translators covering more than 30 languages. Before we start, we check exactly what the receiving institution requires — whether the original needs an apostille first, whether the translation must be bound to the original or to a certified copy, and whether the translation itself needs a further certification.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a normal and a certified translation?

A normal translation has no legal standing. A certified translation is signed and stamped by a court-authorised translator, and institutions accept it as faithful to the original.

Do I need to bring the originals?

A scan or photo is enough for a quote. For some procedures the translation is bound to the original or to a certified copy — we will tell you beforehand what is needed.

How much does a certified translation cost?

The price depends on the language pair, length and urgency. Send us the document and you will receive an exact quote with no obligation.
